When you ask anyone what their favorite mascara is, the answer is almost always Dior DiorShow, and with good reason. Known as the “big show” mascara, Dior created a product that really does lengthen and thicken lashes. Truly. Now, I don’t know about you guys but I go through a tube of mascara prettttty quickly and so spending $25 a tube can get really costly. I recently tried L’Oreal Paris Voluminous mascara ($8.49, drugstore.com) and I gotta tell you, it’s SUPER close to DiorShow. For about one-third of the price, L’Oreal’s version similarly lengthens and thickens lashes and, according to L’Oreal, they thicken lashes up to four times their natural thickness, which is pretty amazing.
