Tennis star Serena Williams continued her dominant 2013 by easily beating Jelena Jankovic 6-2, 6-2 on Sunday to win the China Open. Williams has now won ten tournaments this year, including capturing the French Open and the U.S. Open, and is the top-ranked player in the world.

The win on Sunday also marked the 56th WTA title of Williams’ illustrious career. She is now fourth on the all-time list, but trails third-place Steffi Graf by 51 titles. Martina Navratilova holds the record at 167.

Despite battling a hip problem throughout the match, Jankovic, now 4-7 all-time against Williams, was complimented by an excited Serena afterwards:

I’m really excited – I didn’t think I’d win this tournament. Congratulations to Jelena for such a great tournament as well. I really love tennis so much and it’s fans like the ones here in China who are so exciting to come to. The fans make me want to play, and they’re so great here, so coming here is such a great opportunity (ESPN).

The victory also netted Williams $860,000, adding to her stagger WTA record of $51 million in career winnings.
