Miles Austin Injury: Predicting Terrance Williams' Fantasy Stats vs ...

With Miles Austin not expected to suit up for the Dallas Cowboys showdown with the Denver Broncos, per Ed Werder of ESPN, fellow receiver Terrance Williams is set for a big day.

Williams thrived last week with Austin out. He recorded seven catches for 71 yards, although he failed to get into the end zone for the first time in his rookie campaign.

With Dez Bryant being the team’s best receiver, most of the focus of the Broncos’ secondary will be on him. That will allow Williams to enjoy a lot of single coverage and a lot more space to operate.

Denver not only has the No. 30 pass defense in the NFL, but they will also be without star cornerback Champ Bailey, also per Werder.

If the Cowboys fall behind in this game thanks to the Broncos potent offense (No. 1 passing attack), quarterback Tony Romo will be forced to throw a ton of passes in order to catch up, thus giving Williams even more chances than normal to put up big numbers.

Stat Projection: Nine catches for 105 yards and one touchdown.
