In the midst of all the glitz and glamour at the 2013 Emmys, Allison Williams went the easy route in a blue Ralph Lauren robe.
In a pre-Emmys interview with Elle, the “Girls” actress teased the search declaring, “I required to don one thing that I could have worn everyday–if I lived a very fancy lifetime. So, the gown is very me. It’s incredibly straightforward, lovely, vintage.” And we assume she nailed it.
Williams carried out the theme of simplicity with comfortable makeup, loose curls (styled by Dove superstar stylist Mark Townsend to go with her classic all-American elegance search) and Fred Leighton jewelry she called “previous and beautiful.” She did, even so, include an element of shock in a pair of platform Roger Vivier heels. (As well terrible the gown protected up her feet.)
