Ruth Foss
1935-2013
Ruth Foss, 78, Plattsburg, Missouri died Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
She was born January 12, 1935 to Rolla and Rowena (Williams) Asher.
Ruth married Calvin Raymond Foss in Las Vegas on April 18, 1968. He preceded her in death in April 6, 1993.
Mrs. Foss was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.
She played bingo locally and many card games including poker and blitz. Ruth was family oriented and was always involved with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandchildren, Michelle Hess and Johnathan Brushwood; and siblings, Truman, Ewell, Clay, Vincil, Geraldine, and Otie.
Survivors: son, Robert L. Foss (Cathy), Belton, Missouri; daughters, Sarah Mick, Plattsburg, Missouri and Ruthie Reid (Jerry), Gower, Missouri; grandchildren, Shannon, Ruth Ellen, Steven, Patrick, Rebecca, Jason ,Jessica, and Benjamin; eighteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services: 1:00 P.M. Monday, Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service, Plattsburg, Missouri. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Sunday, Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service.
